Blue Mountains
Australiana Tour
For the adventurer
Your
day begins sharp on 8.30am,
where we embark from within
Sydney's commercial business
district enroute to the Blue
Mountains.
Experience the majesty of
the oldest continent on the
planet and the mystery of a
land that remains the home
of the oldest surviving
culture in the world.
Situated 100 west of Sydney
are the ruggedly beautiful
Blue Mountains,
appropriately named because
of the blue mist that forms
as a result of moisture
droplets in the atmosphere,
made conspicuous by the
presence of the native
Eucalypt trees.
Our first stop is at
picturesque Wentworth falls,
for a short walk by the
cascading waterfalls and
then onto the quaint village
of Leura and the township of
Katoomba, capital of the
blue mountains. |
Next
to Govetts Leap, we take
time to enjoy magnificent
views over the vast ranges.
Then heading onto to Echo
Point, where we will see the
native Aboriginal Dream-Time
rock formation know as The
Three sisters, overlooking
the Jamieson Valley. Enjoy
an easy walk to our Lunch
location.
After
lunch you'll have the
opportunity to take a ride
on the worlds steepest
Railway, but be warned- its
scary!! Or ride the cable
car which offers spectacular
views of the mountains.
Spend the afternoon
exploring more of the
mountains, before we board
our Coach for Featherdale
Wildlife park, Australia's
largest private collection
of native animals. You can
get up close and personnel
with the Koalas and
Kangaroos.... A great
opportunity to cuddle a
koala. |
